The small print, kept short

The terms for using Memoir, whose names are whose, and the licences of what it’s built with.

Effective 31 October 2026

Using Memoir

  • Memoir is free, to use at home, at work or at school, on as many computers as you like.
  • Get it from this website, or from November 19 the Chrome Web Store and the Microsoft Store, so you know it’s the real one.
  • Please don’t sell Memoir, or share a changed copy of it as Memoir. Sharing a link to this website is always welcome.

Memoir as it is

  • I make Memoir with care and test it on real computers, but I can’t promise it will always count perfectly or never stop working.
  • Memoir is provided as it is, without any warranty, as far as the law allows. I’m not liable for any loss that comes from using it, or from not being able to, as far as the law allows.
  • Nothing here takes away rights you have by law where you live.

Names and trademarks

  • Memoir, its name, its clock, its look and its code are © 2026 Mina Vian.
  • Chrome, Google Chrome and the Chrome Web Store are trademarks of Google LLC. Microsoft, Windows, Microsoft Edge, WebView2 and the Microsoft Store are trademarks of the Microsoft group of companies. Brave, Opera, Vivaldi, Arc, Comet and Firefox are trademarks of their owners.
  • They’re named here only to say where Memoir works. Memoir isn’t made, endorsed or sponsored by any of them.

The live demo

  • The live demo runs Memoir’s own screens, in this website, on a made-up week. Its numbers are invented.
  • The apps and websites in it are only examples of what a week might hold, shown by name with a letter in place of their icons. Their names belong to their owners, and none of them is connected with Memoir.

Memoir and this website are built with these, under their own licences:
